The Undersigned
Below is the list of the public signatories who have voiced their opinions on a move to I-A and allowed us to post their commentaries.
| Name | Location | Supporter? | Comments |
| 3rdEage | Clermont, FL | Yes | The increases I expressed are only to be used if we are slating I-A teams at Paulson Stadium. |
| JayChristopher | Atlanta, GA | Yes | I would only give the $300.00 extra if it was put into a account collecting interest, and only used if we go I-A. If we decide not to go it would have to be reimbursed, yet G.So.U. could keep the interest. |
| eross2 | | Yes | |
| Anonymous | Atlanta, GA | Yes | The time has come for GSU to make the move. The state of GA is loaded with talent and we are well positioned between JAX and ATL. We could immediately successfully compete in the Sun Belt and build the program from there. We have a great young coach that can lead us there....otherwise we will probably lose Hatcher to a major FBS school as OC very soon. If we don't move soon Ga State will pass us in 3-5 years. |
| Anonymous | Douglasville, GA | Yes | GO EAGLES! |
| Preston Clark | Pleasant Garden, NC | Yes | |
| Dave Longo | | Yes | |
| michael cash | Statesboro, GA | Yes | I think moving up is a great idea. Its time to make this move! We have done all there is to do in this division. |
| james palmer | Pelham, GA | Yes | |
| william wright | | Yes | |

| TrueBlue22 | Savannah, GA | No | |
| jay5515 | WARNER ROBINS, GA | Yes | |
| Anonymous | | Yes | |
| Stephen Mobley | Atlanta, GA | Yes | |
| Anonymous | Mansfield, GA | Yes | This is something that needs to happen due to the diminishing nature of I-AA (FCS) football. In addition, our current conference (SoCon) is predominately small, private, Carolina-based schools. We need a larger footprint and more exposure for our Athletic program. |
| Soundwayve | Statesboro, GA | Yes | I think with a bigger stadium we would be ready for I-A. |
| Anonymous | Statesboro, GA | Yes | I would be willing for a $200 increase. I mean $28 are you serious, that is so little to even worry about for such a big move. |
| mjohns51 | Pooler, GA | Yes | |
| Lee Spencer | Columbus, GA | Yes | |
| Anonymous | Northport, AL | Yes | Lets make this campaign happen for a Solid Stadium addition. Finish the Horseshoe! |
| George Lott | Statesboro, GA | Yes | |
| ncgsufan | purlear, NC | Yes | |

| Jeffrey Marlow | Brooklet, GA | Yes | Coach Hatcher, destroy our enemies! |
| Richard Green | Dahlonega, GA | Yes | |
| Bridget Schiller | atlanta, GA | Yes | |
| bdever | | Yes | |
| daniel kimball | atlanta, GA | Yes | I support a study for the move but, have questions that need to be answered.
1) What conferance will we try to become a member in?
2) I would support this better if I-A went to a playoff system where all teams in I-A has a chance to win a Champinship each year, not only the top 30 or 40 teams only. If you cant have a chance to win a champinship why compeate at that level if the best we can ever do is a low bowl game. |
| Hughie Hunt | College Park, MD | Yes | I would be happy to contribute to any campaign that was a serious move to 1-A |
| scottharris1997GSU | Frisco, TX | Yes | |
| brunswickeagle22 | | Yes | It's embaressing that a school the size of GSU has never seriously considered the ramifications of going to FBS. More revenue, more big-name teams in Statesboro, more exposure. With the atheletes available in the southeast region, we should be able to compete with the so-called big boys and eventually become one ourselves. |
| shperrins | Norcross, GA | Yes | Make it happen! |
| David Russell | Washington, GA | No | Let's be able to beat Wofford on a yearly basis, not to mention Furman, before we get all sweaty about trying to be like UGA. Personally, I would rather GSU have a reputation as a school recognized for academics AND athletics as opposed to a struggling D one whipping boy currently known for neither, which is what Marshall has become. |
| sully_151 | Newington, GA | Yes | |
| bushrj1 | | Yes | |
| shemmy955 | Statesboro, GA | Yes | |
| Will Shaw | San Clemente, CA | Yes | |
| Dennis Ortiz | Harker Heights, TX | Yes | Georgia Tech's football budget is $27 million dollars annually. Can we compete with that? Our stadium would require a major upgrade along with a major highway that would connect Augusta and Savannah directly to Statesboro. That would require State support. This state is so far into the Bulldogs and Yellowjackets, it would be very hard to do. But if this is for real, I'm with you all the way. |
| Douglas Alexander | Vidalia, GA | Yes | It's now or never. But,are we really ready to give up competing for a national title to possibly play in a lower level bowl game at best? Just something to consider. |
| boroblue10 | Statesboro, GA | Yes | |
| James Flournoy | Forest Park, GA | Yes | Georgia Southern Football can be bigger and more successful than it is. But if we are not careful it could easily fade resulting in games that are of no interest to die hard fans. As teams we once played move on up we find ourselves having to play Johnson C Smith and teams of the like. I know Erk had a bigger idea and dream as well as those who had a part in reviving the program. Instead of games drawing only 9 or 10 thousand fans imagine 30-40,000. The atmosphere would be awesome. |
| Kimberly Mullin | | Yes | the importance of continuing to improve a strong football program should encourage alumni & friend support for years to come. |
