Help - WE NEED YOU! [UPDATED 10/30/2007]
Online Ads
Our best results so far have been the Facebook ads targeting students (which were also very cheap), although as expected students don't have lots of money. We really need to continue to focus on sites like TSC and Facebook which can get quick hits to our website. Maybe even other well-travelled GSU specific sites (or maybe even UGA? sites (*spit*, I know!)). The Newspaper Ad A half page ad ran in the Statesboro Herald on 10/27/2007 (see it here) and received great reviews, but hasn't gotten many people over here to the site. Other ideas We are talking through other ideas such as radio ads, car flyers at the games, sponsored tailgates, etc - but the bottom line is we are on a tight budget. The more you donate, the more of an impact we can make! Donations We have around $400 remaining in our account (thanks to all who donated!) and I have some coming in from ads off the site ($100 or so). We still need more if we want to continue the advertising ... but you've really done a great job so far! Way beyond anything I had hoped for ... If you can afford it and approve of our tactics so far - come off with your own donation! Even if you’ve just got something related to GSU that you think could be of help, we’ll auction it off or give it away for the cause… If you believe in the message and you think we need to spread it, help us out! Below is a listing of our expenses and our current donations and balances.
